Welcome!!

Welcome to the 2010 - 2011 school year!

This website will be used to disseminate any and all information used for the Virtual Enterprise course. You must check this webpage daily in order to be aware of any announcements.

There are a number of important announcements:

1.) The personal statement detailing why you wanted to join Virtual Enterprise is DUE TOMORROW, Wednesday, Sept. 15. Also include your goals for yourself and from the class, as well as what you want to learn from Virtual Enterprise. I would prefer it done as a word doc attached to an email to mr.filipinas@gmail.com

2.) All juniors in the Business SLC need to speak with Ms. Stone during their lunch break.

3.) Any seniors interested in preparing for the SATs, please come see me today, Tuesday, Sept. 14 during 9th period or after school for more information. All study sessions will be held after school starting next week.

4.) Students interested in participating in the Advertising Futures competition, please also come see me today during 9th period or after school. Space is limited. Preference will be given to students with Adobe Photoshop / InDesign experience. Our next meeting is Wednesday after school. We will also be going downtown Friday afterschool to meet our industry partners at findr Interactive.

5.) Students interested in taking business courses from Baruch College or any other college affiliated with Virtual Enterprise, please come see the following website for more information.

7.) I am looking for a few students interested in redesigning the DeWitt Clinton HS found at www.dwclintonhs.org . Experience with HTML / Dreamweaver / Flash preferred, but not necessary. Please come see me after class if interested.
