As you very well know, professional paid internships are very challenging to get… I strongly encourage you to inform your students about the upcoming Youth Summer Job & Internship Fair!
Please let me know if any of your students are interested in attending the event. The details are as follows:
What: Youth Summer Job & Internship Fair
When: Tuesday, May 8, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Where: Lehman High School Campus located at 3000 East Tremont Avenue
Who is eligible: High School Students Ages 14-24 who are interested in a summer job or internship.
Required: Bring plenty of professional resumes that have been reviewed by a teacher and wear professional attire to the event. Dress for success!
**IMPORTANT!!! Also, Please RSVP a note to Mcoleman2@schools.nyc.gov<mailto:Mcoleman2@schools.nyc.gov> as I will be at the event and would like to meet up with all of the VE prospects while I am there.
