In thinking about what the President’s statement means to you, how will your education help you leave a positive and lasting

– OR –
Over the course of the last few years there has been continued dialogue concerning the Community Service Society’s findings that
nearly half of all of African American men and 40% of Latino men in New York City are unemployed. Considering this, what do
you think are the effects of high unemployment rates in the Black and Latino community in your neighborhood? What do you
think is the most effective approach to empowering underserved communities within New York City in regards to creating
sustainable employment?
Scholarship finalists will be contacted for an interview.
