The College Now program @ NYCCT is pleased to announce its summer 2010 program, The Academy for Green Careers! This exciting summer opportunity is open to ALL "Rising Seniors" (those entering their senior year in fall 2010) AND attending a New York City Public High School PROVIDED, they've passed the Math Regents (Intermediate Algebra and Geometry with a 75 or better). The Academy for Green Careers academic thrust centers around the field of Architecture with a introduction to Green Careers in sustainable design, building efficiency, and 2-D & 3-D model construction. Unlike our academic year program, The Academy for Green Careers IS NOT A BOROUGH SPECIFIC OR PARTNER SCHOOL PROGRAM, it is open to ALL 5 boroughs and its students.





Please convey to students that acceptance into the summer program is COMPETITIVE. Applicants are required to submit a Statement of Interest and must sit for a personal interview. Over 200 applicants are competing for ONLY 17 slots!





Attached is the application and calendar. Please download and make duplicates for distribution. THE DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION SUBMISSION IS Friday June 4th!! NO EXCEPTIONS!!
